Our Mission
About Unified Savers
Free, accurate information for California IHSS homecare workers — in plain English.
Who We Are
Unified Savers is a free information resource built specifically for California's In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) workers — the homecare providers who help elderly and disabled Californians live independently.
IHSS workers are among the lowest-paid essential workers in the state, and navigating their rights, wages, and benefit eligibility is unnecessarily complicated. Government websites are dense. Legal jargon is everywhere. Critical information is buried.
We translate that complexity into plain English — and build free tools so every IHSS provider can quickly find out if they're being paid correctly and what benefits they qualify for.

Our Principles
- Free forever. No subscriptions, no paywalls, no premium tiers. Every resource on this site is free.
- No ads. We don't run ads or sell your data. We have no financial relationship with any employer, agency, or county.
- No API keys. Our tools run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to a server or stored anywhere.
- Plain language. Every legal summary is written for a reader with no legal background. If it requires a law degree to understand, we rewrite it.
- Not legal advice. We provide information, not legal representation. For specific disputes, we always direct you to free legal aid.
