How California IHSS Pay Rules Work
Regular pay Your county's hourly rate for all regular hours.
Daily overtime IHSS: any hours over 9 in a single day must be paid at 1.5ร your regular rate.
Weekly overtime Any hours over 40 in a single week must be paid at 1.5ร your regular rate.
Double time Any hours over 12 in a single day must be paid at 2ร your regular rate.
