Unified Savers is not a law firm, is not a lawyer referral service, and does not practise law. We publish information and we operate a form that helps you work out what kind of attorney handles your problem. We do not give legal advice, we do not take cases, and we do not represent anyone.

No attorney-client relationship. Reading this site, using the help wizard, or sending us your details does not create an attorney-client relationship with Unified Savers or with anyone else. Nothing you send us through this site is protected by attorney-client privilege. An attorney-client relationship begins only when you and an attorney agree it does, normally in a signed written agreement.

How the attorney listings work. Where attorneys are named on this site, they are named so that you can choose one and contact them yourself. Any attorney named here pays a flat advertising fee. That fee does not depend on whether you contact them, on whether they take your case, or on anything that happens in it. We are not paid for outcomes and we do not receive any share of any legal fee. We may share or transfer your information to a partner in connection with the help you asked for, and you can stop that at any time on our privacy choices page.

Where no attorney is named we do not pass your details to a lawyer at all. We email you the name and contact details of an attorney who handles that kind of matter, and it is entirely your decision whether to contact them.

We do not endorse anyone. Being listed here is not a recommendation, a rating, or a statement that one attorney is better than another. We make no claim about any attorney's competence, record or results. Check any attorney's licence and discipline history yourself, before you hire them, with the bar of the state that admitted them. Every state bar publishes a free licensee search; California's is at apps.calbar.ca.gov.

Deadlines

Legal deadlines are strict, some are very short, and almost all of them are set state by state — as little as five days to respond to an eviction, around ten days for a driver licence hearing after a DUI arrest, fifteen to thirty days to answer a licensing board accusation, sixty days to appeal a disability denial, months rather than years to bring a claim against a public agency. Any deadline described on this site is a general figure with exceptions, and both the figure and the exceptions differ by state. Never rely on a deadline stated here for your own situation, and never wait on a form when a deadline is close.

Not an Insurance Agency

Unified Savers is not an insurance company, agency or broker and does not sell insurance. Nothing on this site is a quote, an offer of coverage, or advice about which policy suits you. Sending the insurance form does not apply for, bind, or create any coverage. Any licensed agent you speak to is responsible for their own advice, and you can verify a licence with your own state's department of insurance through the NAIC directory.
