Los Angeles County IHSS providers are now earning $19.35 per hour, up from $18.65, following the ratification of the SEIU 2015 county contract.
Who Gets the Increase
- All IHSS providers in Los Angeles County
- Non-live-in and live-in providers (live-in overtime rules differ)
- Effective for all hours worked on or after April 1, 2025
New Overtime Rates for LA County

| Over 9 hours in a day | $29.03 / hr (1.5×) |
| Over 12 hours in a day | $38.70 / hr (2×) |
| Over 40 hours in a week | $29.03 / hr (1.5×) |
Check Your Paycheck
Your county pay stub should reflect $19.35 starting with your first paycheck for hours worked after April 1.
